Albina Vision Trust, in partnership with Edlen & Co. have opened the doors at Albina One, a 94-unit family-focused project in the Eliot neighborhood of Inner N/NE Portland. The mix of one, two, and three bedroom units serve young Portlanders and their families, targeting those working in the trades. Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center + Rosemary Anderson High School (POIC + RAHS) offer support to residents with culturally specific education, mentoring, family outreach, and career placement services. 32 units are regulated to be deeply affordable for households making 30% Area Median Income (AMI) or less.
Amenities at this Metro Housing Bond-funded project include community rooms, secure bike parking, and a large outdoor plaza with garden and play areas. Tenants will have excellent transit access, with the Rose Quarter Transit Center blocks away, as well as streetcar stations. Also nearby are schools, parks, and grocery stores. All units will be subject to PHB's N/NE Preference Policy, prioritizing applicants with generational ties to the area.
Albina One is the 12th Metro Bond project to open in Portland. The Bond is now exceeding all major goals and bringing 2,154 affordable homes to the city, with 806 now open and another 698 expected to open by the end of 2026.
The project was designed by LEVER Architecture and Colas Construction served as general contractor.
