Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus Zhou Yunliang Meets with Minister of Justice and Public Order Costas Fytiris

On February 26, 2026, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus Zhou Yunliang met with Minister of Justice and Public Order Costas Fytiris. 

Chargé d'Affaires Zhou congratulated Minister Fytiris on his assumption of office. He pointed out that judicial and law enforcement cooperation constitutes an important component of the China-Cyprus strategic partnership, and the Chinese side is ready to strengthen communication and coordination with the Cypriot Ministry of Justice and Public Order to achieve win-win outcomes.

Minister Fytiris said that Cyprus and China have enjoyed long-standing friendly relations, and the Cypriot side highly appreciates China's steadfast support on the Cyprus problem. He added that the Cypriot Ministry of Justice and Public Order is willing to work together with the Chinese side to bring bilateral judicial and law enforcement cooperation to a new high.

After the meeting, Chargé d'Affaires Zhou presented to Minister Fytiris the fifth volume of XI JINPING: THE GOVERNANCE OF CHINA.
