House Passes National Defense Bill
WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Representative Glenn "GT" Thompson voted in favor of the Streamlining Procurement for Effective Execution and Delivery and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026.
Rep. Thompson released the following statement:
"The Streamlining Procurement for Effective Execution and Delivery and National Defense Authorization Act is one of the most important bills Congress takes up. This year's bill improves service members' quality of life, while equipping our military with the tools and resources to counter the rapidly growing threats from foreign adversaries and restore American deterrence. This bill also makes important changes to the Pentagon's acquisition process by cutting through red tape and delivering much needed capabilities to our warfighters at a much faster pace."
