Wayne Bank Presents EITC Donation to The Wayne County Community Foundation
Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has supported The Wayne County Community Foundation with a donation through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).
Ryanne Jennings, President and CEO, accepted a check in the amount of $4,000 from Mr. Donnelly. With this donation, Wayne Bank helps The Wayne County Community Foundation offer academically advanced programs in the Wayne Highlands, Wallenpaupack Area, and Western Wayne School Districts.
"Supporting educational opportunities today helps strengthen our communities for the future," stated Mr. Donnelly. "The Wayne County Community Foundation continues to make a meaningful impact by expanding access to programs for local students, and Wayne Bank is honored to help support those efforts."
The Wayne County Community Foundation invests and administers funds to award grants, scholarships, and promote programs to a wide range of humanitarian, educational, and cultural organizations. The Foundation strives to create a community pooling of assets that has the potential to benefit Wayne County for years and years to come; gifts that will give back forever.
This gift was made possible because of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Community and Economic Development.
