HACU Webinar: Scholarship, strategy and storytelling

This 90-minute webinar helps students, parents, faculty, staff, college and career counselors, and community partners gain a deeper understanding of the scholarship landscape and confidently navigate the application process. The first hour will focus on trusted national, state, local, and private scholarship resources, researching opportunities effectively, what to expect in a scholarship application, and the real costs and timelines applicants should plan for.

A key focus of the webinar will be on scholarship essays and storytelling. Participants will learn how to identify personal stories, respond to common prompts, and write authentic essays that resonate with reviewers. The webinar concludes with a 30-minute live Q&A for attendees to ask questions, and leave with practical tools and strategies they can apply immediately.
