WYDOT closing eastbound I-80 on and off ramps in Wamsutter for paving on Monday

WAMSUTTER, Wyo. The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) and contract crews from Lewis & Lewis will be closing the eastbound Interstate 80 on and off ramps at Exit 173 in Wamsutter on Monday, Sept. 14, for milling and paving operations. The work and closure are scheduled to begin at approximately 7 a.m. Monday morning and is estimated to be completed that same day.

Eastbound drivers heading to Wamsutter during the closure should detour onto Exit 184, and loop back onto westbound I-80, exiting at Wamsutter via Exit 173.

The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change. WYDOT is committed to providing the public with update information as work progresses.
