The College Football season at Cosm is off to a flying start.

On Saturday night, not even a 90-minute weather delay could slow down LSU at home against Clemson. Lane Kiffin's debut in Baton Rouge was nothing short of sensational. The Tigers raced out to a 31-3 lead at halftime and never looked back, routing Clemson 51-10 at Tiger Stadium.

No stranger to football on a Sunday night, Lambeau Field was the site of Cosm's second College Football game of the season. Notre Dame had a tougher go of it against Wisconsin in the first half, entering halftime with a narrow 13-10 lead. But the Fighting Irish left no doubt in the second half, defeating the Badgers 41-13 in only the fifth College Football game ever hosted at Lambeau Field and the first since 2016.

In Week 2, Cosm takes fans inside the action of two more primetime matchups featuring ranked teams and perennial powerhouses, including the debut of College Football at Cosm Detroit with a hometown favorite taking the field.

This Week In College Football at Cosm

#11 Oklahoma (1-0) vs. Michigan (1-0) | Sept 12 @ 12pm ET

Last Meeting: Michigan 13 - 24 Oklahoma (2025)

Following a miraculous win to kick off the season, Michigan looks to move the ball forward against Oklahoma. This matchup raises a simple question: Which version of Michigan will fans see?

The Wolverines defeated Western Michigan 13-12 on a last-second Hail Mary, while Oklahoma looked exactly like a top-15 team in a 51-0 takedown of UTEP. Now, Michigan gets a much tougher test at home, facing a solid Oklahoma defense with an offensive line that struggled in the opener.

Oklahoma doesn't need to reinvent anything. The Sooners can lean on their defense and quarterback John Mateer, who already gave Michigan plenty of problems in last season's 24-13 Oklahoma win.

On the other hand, Michigan needs to prove that Week 1 won't define their season. Bryce Underwood remains the starting quarterback, and the Wolverines are going to have to play with more confidence and consistency to keep the Sooners from controlling the game.

#1 Ohio State (1-0) vs. #4 Texas (1-0) | Sept 12 @ 7:30 pm ET

Last Meeting: Texas 7 - 14 Ohio State (2025)

Heading to Austin, Ohio State and Texas are going head-to-head for one of the first narrative-setting matchups of the season.

Following last season's 14-7 Ohio State win, the No. 4 Longhorns have a chance at redemption against the No. 1 Buckeyes. The difference? This time, they're on home turf.

For Texas quarterback Arch Manning, this rematch is not just another shot at Ohio State. It's a chance to show just how much he's grown since that first meeting. Opening the season with 305 passing yards and four touchdowns, Manning needs to carry that momentum into this matchup to really flip the script.

Opening their season with equally impressive numbers, the Buckeyes are more than up for the challenge. Ohio State leans on the star power of quarterback Julian Sayin and receiver Jeremiah Smith, making this a top-5 matchup worth watching.

Learn A New Tradition

Big Bertha

It's game day at the University of Texas.

Fans fill the stands, creating a wave of burnt orange. The sound of the crowd grows with every passing minute before kickoff approaches. And right in the middle of the game day excitement is Big Bertha… the enormous drum that has become a beloved Texas tradition.

Made by C.G. Conn instruments and bought by a Texas alum from the University of Chicago for only a dollar, the drum has become a symbol of Texas school spirit. Each strike of the drum creates a sound you can actually feel. A deep, booming drumbeat that distinctively ripples throughout the stadium.

While the original Big Bertha was ceremoniously retired on her 100th birthday, Texas unveiled Big Bertha II. This new drum proves that everything is bigger in Texas-named the largest bass drum in the world.

To Longhorn fans, hearing the familiar boom of Big Bertha reminds them of the generations of fans who have cheered before them, making game day in Texas feel particularly Texan.
