SCDOT to open new exit ramp from I 20 West to I 26 West as part of Carolina Crossroads Project

​Columbia, S.C. (January 7, 2025)- The South Carolina Department of Transportation will open a new exit ramp from I-20 West to I-26 West on January 9. This marks another milestone in Phase 2 of the Carolina Crossroads Project.

The ramp will open late on January 9 to allow crews to permanently close the existing I-20 West exit ramp at the I-26 interchange. As part of this traffic change, overhead signs near the Broad River Road overpass will direct drivers where to exit using the new ramp. A map of the area can be found below.
