Edinburg, TX - The Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library, in partnership with Workforce Solutions and the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), will host a Community Job Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, at the library located at 1906 S. Closner Blvd.
The event will bring together more than 45 employers from across the region, providing job seekers with valuable opportunities to explore current openings, connect directly with hiring representatives, and submit resumes.
Organizers state that the job fair is designed to support workforce development by connecting residents with employment opportunities across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, government, retail, logistics, and professional services.
Participating Employers
Employers scheduled to participate include Bert Ogden Nissan, TTEC, KFI Staffing, Walmart, Hidalgo County, U.S. Border Patrol, Harlingen Medical Center, Knapp Medical Center, Mission Regional Medical Center, Regency Integrated Health Services, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, City of Edinburg, AARP Foundation, Dollar Tree, El Tigre Food Stores, Burger King, Juniors Super Market, and Teleperformance.
Additional participating employers include Edinburg Vision Center, McAllen Career Institute, Summit BHC Palms Behavioral Health, Spherion Staffing & Recruiting, Region One Education Service Center Sub Hub, Region One Education Service Center HR, Royal Freight, Fewell Professional Staffing, Southern Careers Institute, Workforce Solutions, Readymen Staffing, Church's Chicken, North Alamo Water Supply Corporation, ACG Secure Insurance Group, and The Valleys Market Place.

The Community Job Fair will provide attendees with direct access to recruiters and hiring managers, as well as information about available positions and potential career pathways.
