MADISON - The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) today released U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates of employment and unemployment statistics for metropolitan areas, major cities, and counties in Wisconsin for November 2025. • Municipalities: Preliminary November 2025 unemployment rates decreased or stayed the same in 25 of Wisconsin's 35 largest cities over the year; and rates increased in 10 cities over the year.
  • Counties: Preliminary November 2025 unemployment rates decreased or stayed the same in 55 of Wisconsin's 72 counties over the year, and rates increased in 17 counties over the year. Menominee County achieved a record low unemployment rate of 3.6% in November.
