The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a metal pipe replacement project will be performed on Route 207 (West Main Street) in Sprague resulting in a temporary nighttime road closure starting on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. This project is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, June 3 and be completed on Thursday, June 4, 2026. The project consists of a metal pipe replacement.
This project is being performed by State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be a road closure on Route 207 (West Main Street) in Sprague from Wednesday, June 3 to Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The closure will take place between Plain Hill Road and School Hill Road. Local traffic will be able to use School Hill Road and Plain Hill Road. State traffic control personnel and traffic control signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
