Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Attends Annual Concert of AusOriental Orchestra

On 8 November 2025, Consul-General of the People's Republic of China in Brisbane Dr RUAN Zongze was invited to attend the "Echoes of the Ancient Melodies" annual concert organized by The AusOriental Orchestra and delivered a speech.

Dr RUAN stated that the Recommendations for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan provides a top-level design and strategic blueprint for China's development over the next five years. China will continue to promote high-standard opening up, accelerate the development of cultural industries, and extend the reach and appeal of Chinese civilization. We hope the AusOriental Orchestra will continue to enhance the cultural exchanges and people-to-people friendship between China and Australia through music.

This year's annual concert includes a variety of programs such as instrumental performance, dancing, singing and poetry recitation.
