Publisher Reflections:

Rob Sanders of Greystone Books said, "I was muchyounger when Greystone Books joined PGW for US sales and distribution. And sowas PGW. PGW's enthusiasm back then helped fuel Greystone's publishingambitions. Our journey together was wonderful because of the good people wewalked with. And our new young publishing team continues to benefit from theskill and extensive wisdom of a tremendous group of people we know ascolleagues and friends. Greystone and Greystone Kids wish everyone at PGW atremendous 50th anniversary."

Doug Seibold of Agate Publishingsaid, "Agate started working with PGW 20 years ago. From the beginning, I havealways appreciated the spirit of collaboration and common interest that'smarked this crucial working relationship at every step, even as our businesseshave evolved in unexpected ways. PGW has been and remains one of Agate'smost important partners, and I know I can count on my colleagues there forgreat advice and perspectives on publishing that go well beyond sales."

Michael Reynolds of Europe Editionsadds, "For as long as I've been in publishing, the acronym PGW has been on myradar. Over the years I formed a vague idea of this motley crew of diehard bookpeople that coalesced around words like passion, excellence, commitment, authenticity, and a feeling that behind this acronym there were real peopledoing real work on behalf of real books. For almost ten years now Europa hasbeen a publisher partner of PGW, and I'm pleased to say that everyhalf-formed idea I had about them is true! They are beautiful. They areunique. They are the best. Happy birthday PGW from all of us atEuropa Editions. May the road rise to meet you for another fifty years."

Morgan Entrekin of Grove Atlantic states,"Iwant to congratulate PGW on their 50th anniversary. Starting in the 1970sCharlie Winton and his co-founders created a platform for independentpublishing that has evolved through various incarnations to become, along withthe rest of Ingram Publisher Services, the best sales and distribution optionfor independent publishers that has ever existed. All of us at Grove Atlanticare excited to celebrate this milestone and grateful for the wonderfulpartnership we have enjoyed with PGW for the last 32 years. Here's to 50 moreyears!"

Looking Ahead:

"As we look ahead, our focus is on empowering the nextgeneration of independent publishers," said Meredith Greenhouse, VP and GMof IPS. "PGW's legacy, combined with Ingram's investments indata, analytics, and global distribution, ensures that indie publishers havethe tools and partnership they need for the next 50 years."
