On Veterans Day, Ernst Honors Our Nation’s Heroes

WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), a combat veteran, released the following message to honor the brave men and women who have selflessly served our nation in uniform.

"After serving in the Global War on Terrorism, Veterans Day holds deep personal meaning for me," said Ernst. "Today, join me in honoring the courageous men and women whose service and sacrifice safeguarded the freedoms and values we hold so dear. In Congress, I fight every day to ensure that our veterans receive the benefits they've earned and the high-quality care they deserve. I am forever grateful to all who have worn our nation's uniform to defend our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
