Woman Charged with Criminal Homicide for Fatally Shooting Her Boyfriend Inside Bellevue Apartment

Homicide Unit detectives this afternoon charged Hailey J. Hall, 20, with criminal homicide for this morning's fatal shooting of her 62-year-old live-in boyfriend inside an apartment in the 6900 block of Highway 70 South. A chaplain is working to notify the victim's next of kin.

Another male resident of the apartment called 911 just after 7:30 a.m. He said when he arrived home, he saw Hall standing in the doorframe of the bedroom that she and the victim shared. He then saw the victim unresponsive on the bedroom floor. He said Hall told him that she shot the victim. Hall declined to discuss the circumstances with detectives.

A judicial commissioner set bond for Hall at $100,000.
