How long have you worked at FSU?
4 years
What 3 words can you use to describe FSU?
Beautiful, Belonging and Opportunities
List any professional or personal accomplishments we can celebrate with you.
I have been with the Mount Savage Volunteer Fire Department for 16 years as a volunteer firefighter.
What is your favorite thing about working at Frostburg State University?
One of my favorite things about FSU is the sense of community and belonging. It is a great feeling to feel like you are part of something bigger. Everyone works together to help students, staff, and faculty feel as if they matter.
Is there a faculty and/or staff member that you consider a mentor? If so, who and why?
There is no one faculty or staff member, but I would like to mention that all of my professors in the Computer Science department were all mentors in my learning and growing as a student. They pushed me to do my best and gave me the confidence to grow as a person within my field of technology.
What advice would you give to current students?
The piece of advice that I would give current students is don't be afraid to ask for help from your professors and push yourself in your studies. The faculty are here to help guide you and assist with your growth as a student and as a person.
What do you do for fun?
I like to visit with family, volunteer and play video games.
