Providence's Swindells Resource Center is partnering with FACT Oregon to offer free virtual classes in English and Spanish, helping families better understand special education services for children with developmental delays or disabilities.
Support for every stage of the journey
Navigating special education services can feel overwhelming, especially at the start of a new school year.
Swindells Resource Center offers free assistance to parents and caregivers of all children, with a special focus on families navigating behavioral, developmental and complex medical needs. Classes are available in both English and Spanish, making support more accessible to diverse communities.

Topics include early intervention, early childhood special education, transition planning, and understanding special education services. Sessions are designed to help parents advocate for their children, make informed decisions, and feel more confident navigating educational resources.
Families are welcome to attend any session that fits their needs and can register online through FACT Oregon.
