Support American Federation of Musicians Local 16-248

This Wednesday, September 2nd, the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) Local 16-248 will hold a rally at the Ocean City Music pier to inform concert goers that a non-union event is taking place at the venue.

The Music Director of the Ocean City Pops Orchestra has continued to schedule events that take away work from our union brothers and sisters in the orchestra by using non-union musicians at low paying rates without benefits.

We urge you to join our union brothers and sisters in AFM Local 16-248 in informing the public of the anti-union activity taking place at the Ocean City Music pier. The rally will begin at 6:30 PM at the base of the ramp leading to the boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace. The concert is at 7:30.
