HACU announces students selected for the Voces Nuevas Program

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced 75 students from HACU-member institutions have been selected to the Voces Nuevas Program. The 8-month program provides students the opportunity to develop leadership and advocacy skills while serving as HACU ambassadors promoting the Association's programs.

The Voces Nuevas Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to receive leadership, advocacy and career development training, as well as develop strategies promoting innovative and socially conscious solutions at the local, state and national levels.

Selected participants of the Voces Nuevas Program will the opportunity to attend HACU's 40th Annual Conference taking place on Oct. 31- Nov. 2, 2026, at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center in Chula Vista, California and will participate in the ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute, a component of the Student Track at the conference. Some selected students will have the opportunity to attend HACU's 32^nd National Capitol Forum.
