EOC Update: Grasshopper Mountain Wildfire (K60575) Friday, June 19, 2026, 3:00 pm

Latest update

There is no new information at this time.

The next update is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:00 am, unless conditions change.

  • The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Emergency Operations Centre (RDOS EOC) will continue to keep you informed as new information becomes available.

  • Please continue to monitor official sources for information as the hot, dry weather is expected to continue through the weekend.

  • The RDOS EOC is working closely with BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) and the Tulameen and District Volunteer Fire Department. The EOC has been activated to a level one event for monitoring.

  • The RDOS EOC was activated on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 3:30 pm due to the Grasshopper Mountain Wildfire (K60575) in Electoral Area "H".

  • Stay informed. Click here to register for routine and emergency notifications from the RDOS via email, text, or telephone.

  • Download the Voyent Alert! app or visit the RDOS website at rdos.bc.ca.

Evacuation Alert issued
 The RDOS EOC has issued an evacuation alert near Tulameen.

The EVACUATION ALERT is for the following areas:

  • Properties west of Tulameen on Lawless Creek Road and Tulameen River Road.

This evacuation alert has been issued to prepare you to leave your premises or property should it be found necessary. Residents will be given as much advance notice as possible before evacuation; however, you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.

If camping or recreating in the alert area, please be ready to leave.

Get your grab-and-go bag, a small emergency kit that is easy to take with you, in case you need to leave right away.

If further action is required, a notification will be sent via Voyent Alert!
