Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands Shen Bo Meets with General Director of the Clingendael Institute

On April 7, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, visited the Clingendael Institute, a leading think tank in the Netherlands, and met with General Director Ms. Monica Sie Dhian Ho. The two sides exchanged views on China-Netherlands relations and academic exchanges between think tanks of both countries. 

Ambassador Shen Bo stated that exchanges between think tanks and academic institutions, as well as interactions between experts and researchers, constitute an important pillar of our bilateral relations. China is willing to work with the Netherlands  to uphold mutual respect and dialogue based on equality, and continuously enhance understanding and expand cooperation.

General Director Monica Sie Dhian Ho briefed Ambassador on the work of the Clingendael Institute, and expressed her willingness to further deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation in academic research.

Minister Zhang Yi of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands was also present at the meeting.
