Ashley Cooke Delivers 'Starry-Eyed Love Song' From First-Ever Holiday Collection

Ashley Cooke is getting into the holiday spirit early.

The country star, 29, debuted the title track from her first-ever Christmas EP, wrapped, on Friday (October 16). The full 5-track collection will arrive on November 6. A press release from Cooke's record label describes "wrapped " as a "blissed-out" song that "summons all the dreamy nostalgia of Christmas while adding a playful dose of holiday romance. …the starry-eyed love song imagines a snowed-in Christmas spent cozied up with someone who makes the whole world melt away."

Cooke, Lauren Hungate, Jimmy Robbins, Alysa Vanderheym and Ben Williams teamed up to write "wrapped," which was produced by Jacob Durrett. The song "instantly channels the pure joy of a magical Christmas night, pairing the gentle shimmer of sleigh bells with warm guitar tones, tender Dobro melodies, and beautifully laid-back grooves - a perfect backdrop to Cooke's carefree yet soulful vocal work," the release states. The title track is one of two originals on the EP, along with the "flirty" song, "secret santa." The collection will also include Cooke's renditions of "have yourself a merry little christmas," "jingle bell rock," and "silent night (with the cooke family)."
