Norfolk Southern Railroad Crossing Closure on US 441 in Fargo
HOMERVILLE, GA. - At the request of Norfolk Southern Corporation, Georgia DOT announces a road closure on US 441 at railroad crossing in City of Fargo in Clinch County. US 441 railroad crossing closure began Monday, June 29 and will remain in place through 5 p.m., Thursday, July 2.

Traffic will be detoured via SR 94, SR 129 and US 84. The roadway will reopen early if work is completed ahead of schedule or could possibly be closed longer if weather delays the work.

US 441 will remain open to local traffic up to the work zone. The existing one-track railroad crossing, operated by Norfolk Southern Railroad, will be closed to for rail maintenance at this location.

Advisory: Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
