MURRELLS INLET, S.C., May 8, 2025 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a 71-room Country Inn & Suites hotel in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina for $5.95 million.
"This was a unique opportunity to assist an out-of-state owner in navigating a competitive market," said Terrence Jefferson, associate. "We generated significant interest with more than 15 tours and over 10 offers, ultimately securing a 1031 exchange buyer. Jefferson, Jack Davis, Joce Messinger and Eric Webster, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Charleston office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor.
Built in 1998, the five-story Country Inn & Suites is on 1.14 acres at 1303 Tadlock Drive. The hotel features 71 guest rooms, along with amenities including an indoor pool, laundry facilities and complimentary daily breakfast. The property is approximately 11 miles from Myrtle Beach International Airport.
