Preventable Chaos: Putting Public Safety First

In response to recent events in Minneapolis, House Minority Leader Tony McCombie released the following statement:

"What we are seeing in Minneapolis is preventable chaos; no one should be hurt or killed. When leaders fight the law instead of enforcing it, driven by politics rather than public safety, tensions rise, and communities suffer. Sanctuary policies protect criminals, including violent offenders, and put residents and law-enforcement at risk. Leaders need to lower the temperature, cooperate, and put public safety first."
