Fulbright Workshop: Intro to Fulbright begins Feb. 3

Marquette University Fellowships and the International Affairs program are collaborating to bring a brand-new workshop series for students who are interested in applying for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Throughout the semester, four separate workshops will be hosted, including the following topics:

Session No. 1: Intro to Fulbright: What is Fulbright All About and Why Should I Consider Applying?

When: Feb. 3, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Wehr Physics 418

Session No. 2: The Insider's View: A Conversation with Past Applicants and Reviewers

When: Feb. 24, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Wehr Physics 418

Session No. 3: Launchpad: Starting Your Short Answer Questions

When: March 17, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Wehr Physics 418

Session No. 4: Launchpad: Starting Your Statement of Grant Purpose

When: April 7, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Wehr Physics 418

This series will help prospective applicants explore the program, guide them through the application process and set them up for success in the next application cycle. The sessions, like Fulbright, are open to students from all majors. Anyone who is intent on applying for next year is strongly encouraged to attend to work directly with the campus Fulbright Program Advisor, Karalee Surface.
