On May 3, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the United States opened its doors to thousands of visitors as part of the "Events DC's Around the World Embassy Tour" program

On May 3, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the United States opened its doors to thousands of visitors as part of the "Events DC's Around the World Embassy Tour" program by organizing a series of events that presented Armenian culture and heritage. The events included performances of Armenian folk dances by the "Gevorkian" dance academy, an exhibition of works by world-renowned Armenian designer Michael Aram, an exhibition of Armenian carpets and paintings, as well as tasting of Armenian dishes and cognac.
The event was attended by Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Florida Michael Aram, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Chicago Oscar Tatosyan, Founder of "Itaberco" Company Boris Ghazaryan, founder of the "Gevorkian" dance academy Vartan Gevorkian, and artist Karine Dulyan.
The "Gevorkian" dance academy performed Armenian folk dances, including "Kochari," "Yarkhusta," and "Ververi." The visitors were welcomed at the embassy by the Ambassador of Armenia to the United States, Lilit Makunts.
