Alsobrooks' line of questioning of Dr. Monarez and Dr. Houry confirms the safety of vaccines and the need for RFK Jr. to resign immediately

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.) questioned fired CDC Director Dr. Susan Monarez and former CDC career employee Dr. Debra Houry.

During the hearing, Senator Alsobrooks questioned if RFK Jr. was competent. Dr. Debra Houry responded that she believes RFK Jr. should resign.

Senator Alsobrooks also gave Dr. Susan Monarez the opportunity to send a message to parents. Dr. Susan Monarez confirmed vaccines are safe and effective.

"I have been building the case since May as to why RFK Jr. must resign or be fired. Today's hearing couldn't have made it more clear. RFK Jr. is dangerous for our families. His north star is conspiracy theories instead of sound science. Children will continue to die as his insidious vaccine disinformation spreads," said Senator Alsobrooks after the hearing.
