BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University has been recognized once again by U.S. News and World Report as home to some of the nation's best graduate programs, highlighting the strength and breadth of its academic offerings.
The University's inclusion in U.S. News and World Report's 2026 rankings signifies the quality of a BGSU advanced degree to prepare students for career growth and professional opportunities in high-demand fields.

Schmidthorst College of Business takes top honors
Graduate programs in the Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business took top honors in this year's rankings, including in new categories for BGSU in general management and supply chain management.
For 2026, a BGSU graduate education in management ranks No. 3 among public universities in Ohio and No. 15 overall in the Midwest.
The rankings build upon the quality of the University's undergraduate management program, which was previously named among the top 25 in North America by Gartner. The student-led BGSU Supply Chain Management Association is also among the top 10 in the world.
Offered in-person and through BGSU Online, the Master of Business Administration with a concentration in supply chain management empowers graduates with the education needed to master managerial responsibilities in a variety of service and manufacturing settings.
The Schmidthorst College of Business also earned high marks for its graduate courses in accounting, business analytics, finance, information systems and marketing.
Additional BGSU programs earn high marks
Underscoring a commitment to consistent educational excellence, the BGSU master's program in speech language pathology retained its ranking of No. 67 nationally while placing No. 4 among Ohio's public universities. The accredited program boasts a 100% passage rate of the state licensure exam and a 95% employment rate.
The BGSU doctorate program in statistics also ranked among the nation's top 100, coming in at No. 17 among public universities in the Midwest and No. 91 overall.
As part of the program, students develop deep proficiency in advanced methodologies and conduct groundbreaking research alongside the University's world-class faculty. Graduates go on to be trusted leaders who deliver complex, data-powered solutions that drive innovation in various industries, including business, healthcare and technology.
Additional BGSU graduate programs recognized among the top 200 in the nation in this year's rankings include sociology at No. 64, fine arts at No. 122, English at No. 131, psychology at No. 140, clinical psychology at No. 141, education at No. 149, mathematics at No. 153, chemistry at No. 163 and public affairs at No. 177.
