CITY OF CHARLESTON AND LOVE YOUR BLOCK TO HOST COMMUNITY CLEANUP AND BREAKFAST

This Saturday, October 25, the City of Charleston will host a community breakfast and neighborhood litter cleanup at Mulberry Park (1653 Mulberry Street) from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The event invites residents, families, and city staff to come together for a morning of connection, service, and celebration.

This quarter's cleanup will also mark the conclusion of the 2025 Love Your Block grant cycle, a Bloomberg Philanthropies project in the Ardmore-Sherwood Forest Neighborhood.

WHO:
Mayor Cogswell, City of Charleston Economic & Neighborhood Services, Keep Charleston Beautiful, Charleston Police Department, Charleston Fire Department, and City of Charleston Livability and Tourism

WHAT:
Breakfast, litter cleanup, and community gathering - open to all ages.

WHEN:
Saturday, October 25 | 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

WHERE:
Mulberry Park, 1653 Mulberry Street

WHY:
These quarterly cleanups bring residents and City staff together to strengthen community connections, promote neighborhood pride, and keep Charleston beautiful. It's also a great opportunity for kids to earn volunteer hours.
