National Night Out Set for August 4
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (July 28, 2026) - New Brunswick residents, police officers, and elected officials will once again gather in neighborhoods around the City on Tuesday, Aug. 4, as part of the annual National Night Out celebration.
National Night Out is a nationwide community event that aims to strengthen ties between residents and the local police department and unite against crime.
Neighborhoods around New Brunswick host a number of small events, block parties, and barbecues for the event, which usually begins around 5 p.m.
A police caravan will be traveling throughout the City stopping at various locations. The complete list of locations will be posted soon.
