DGA Chair Gov. Andy Beshear Statement on Aaron Ford Becoming the Democratic Nominee in Nevada

DGA Chair Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear released the following statement on Aaron Ford securing the Democratic nomination for governor in Nevada:

"Congratulations to Aaron Ford on becoming the Democratic nominee for governor in Nevada. This is a top flip opportunity for the DGA, and we are excited to work with Aaron to win this race and deliver results for working families across the state.

"Aaron's story is Nevada's story. He grew up in a working-class family, became the first person in his family to graduate college, and went on to earn multiple degrees. As Nevada's Attorney General, he's taken on big drug companies that are jacking up prices and is fighting back against utility companies ripping off families. At a time when Nevadans are being crushed by skyrocketing costs, Aaron is running for governor to rebuild the state's economy, lower the cost of housing and prescription drugs, and create good-paying jobs."
