Working Groups at FAO

While the UN system is currently challenged politically and financially, the EU is working intensely at the UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation in Rome (FAO), the world's leading organisation in charge of food security, to make our multilateral work more effective and FAO fit for purpose.

The EU and its Member States are and will remain reliable and predictable partners of FAO and the UN in general, and this is why we participate actively and constructively both in the FAO review and in the UN80 process.
