Logomark Welcomes Newest Morale Dog Dawson to Shelter to Soldier Program

Tustin, CA (February 17, 2026) - Logomark, a proud Red Star Sponsor of the Shelter to Soldier program, is honored to support the next generation of four-legged heroes through the organization's innovative Morale Dog Program. Today, Logomark celebrates the journey of Dawson, a newly recruited rescue dog who is already making strides toward her future role supporting active-duty service members aboard U.S. Navy ships.

The Morale Dog Program is a groundbreaking initiative designed to enhance the mental health and well-being of active-duty military personnel. Specially selected rescue dogs are trained as "four-legged crew members," providing comfort, stress relief, and companionship to sailors navigating the demands of life at sea. These dogs-formally recognized as Expeditionary Facility Dogs-are part of the Navy's Expanded Operational Stress Control (ESOC) program and are trained to operate in complex maritime environments.

"Shelter to Soldier's Morale Dog Program reflects our commitment to supporting service members across every stage of their journey," said Nicky Moore, Director of Training and Operations at Shelter to Soldier. "These incredible dogs offer more than companionship-they foster resilience, connection, and moments of calm in high-stress environments."

Dawson, adopted through Labs & More Rescue, has already begun her specialized training aboard the USS Midway, where she is learning to confidently navigate the unique challenges of a naval ship. From mastering ladder wells to exploring metal decks and engaging with new crew members, Dawson has demonstrated remarkable adaptability and confidence.

"Training in a ship environment presents unique challenges, but Dawson has approached every new experience with curiosity and resilience," added Moore. "She is already showing the qualities that will make her an exceptional Morale Dog."

Once fully trained, Dawson will join the ranks of other successful Morale Dogs, including Raider, a rescued Labrador commissioned as a Lieutenant aboard the USS Makin Island, and Lady, who currently serves aboard the USS Boxer. Both dogs have become integral members of their crews, offering daily emotional support and strengthening morale among Sailors and Marines.

Logomark's sponsorship plays a vital role in making these life-changing placements possible-giving rescued dogs a renewed purpose while providing service members with meaningful emotional support.

Logomark remains committed to transforming the lives of both rescue dogs and veterans through the organization's mission of Saving Lives, Two at a Time. As a Red Star Sponsor, Logomark helps fund the adoption, care, training, and placement of service dogs through its ongoing support of the program. A portion of proceeds from Logomark's Perka®, iCool®, and Work® collections are donated to Shelter to Soldier, further expanding the impact on veterans and rescue dogs alike.

"We are incredibly proud to partner with Shelter to Soldier and support a program that creates such powerful impact," said Clive Goldberg, President of Logomark. "Dawson's journey is just beginning, and we are excited to see her grow into a role that will touch countless lives."
