Dallas ISD high schools earn top 10 rankings in Texas

DALLAS - Dallas ISD high schools earned four of the top ten spots in Texas, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report's 2026 Best High Schools rankings.
Additionally, six schools ranked in the top 50 in Texas.
Among nearly 18,000 nationally-ranked schools, the School for the Talented and Gifted at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center was ranked No. 1 in Texas and eighth nationally.
According to the U.S. News & World Report study, students who attend the highest-ranked public schools demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math, reading, and science state assessments, earned qualifying scores on an array of college-level exams, and graduated in high proportions.

No. 6: Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School

No. 13: Trinidad "Trini" Garza Early College High School at Mountain View
No. 20: School of Health Professions at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center
No. 29: Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy
No. 30: Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts
