The City of Vista's Civic Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition by Phaya Gifford.
Phaya's body of work is known for its distinctive textures, bold color combinations, and strong compositions. She has received numerous awards. Her work is often featured in solo and group exhibits and corporate, public, and private collections throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona.
A reception for the artist will be held on Tues., Sept. 9, at 4:30 p.m., where light refreshments will be served. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Phaya and gain insights into her creative process. The reception is open to the public, accessible, free of charge, and promises to be an engaging experience.
Gallery visitors can enjoy the exhibition during Vista Civic Center's regular hours, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and alternating Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The exhibition opens on August 26 and runs through September 19. Admission to the gallery is free, providing the community with an accessible opportunity to engage with and appreciate a local fine artist.
