Boost your digital confidence at South Perth Libraries

Take advantage of Get Online Week at our City of South Perth Libraries through a range of events and services designed to boost your digital confidence and make the online world more accessible to everyone in our community.

Get Online Week, running from 20-26 October 2025, is a national campaign aimed at closing the digital divide and supporting people to feel safer and more confident online.

While our libraries offer digital workshops and support throughout the year, Get Online Week is a great opportunity for beginners and curious learners to take their first steps into digital skills or expand their knowledge in a friendly and supportive environment.

Join us for our Google Search workshop on Thursday 23 October, 10-11am at South Perth Library, where you will learn how to find exactly what you want online with the Google search engine.

You can also ask your specific questions to our knowledgeable and friendly local high school students at our one-on-one tech support sessions. The program runs on select Mondays at South Perth Library.


Digital specialist Sarah Thompson will lead our Intro to AI workshop on Thursday, 23 October, 2pm - 4pm at South Perth Library . This beginner-friendly session will guide you through the basics of Artificial Intelligence and helping you set up your first ChatGPT account. This interactive workshop is designed to boost your confidence and spark your curiosity about AI technologies. Book your spot now .
