Temporary Road Closure Near Old Fairburn and Stonewall Tell Roads Starting Sept. 29
The City of South Fulton will commence Stage 1 construction on two roundabout projects in District 3 at the intersections of Old Fairburn Road at Union Road and Stonewall Tell Road at Union Road.
Project upgrades include the installation of two roundabouts, sidewalks, street lighting, drainage improvements, and more. These improvements are designed to enhance traffic safety and alleviate congestion in the area.
As part of Stage 1, Union Road (west of Old Fairburn Road) will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning September 29, 2025.
Local traffic can still access their homes, but through traffic will be detoured.
