THORNTON, Colo. - Congressman Gabe Evans welcomed the U.S. Small Business Administration Deputy Administrator Bill Briggs to Colorado's Eighth Congressional District for a tour of Air Squared, a Thornton-based industry leader in oil-free scroll design and manufacturing.
The visit highlighted the critical role American manufacturers and small businesses play in creating good-paying jobs, strengthening local economies, securing domestic supply chains, and advancing America's national security.
Congressman Evans has worked alongside Republicans in Congress to support American businesses and bring manufacturing back to the United States. Rep. Evans supported The Working Families Tax Cut, which incentivizes businesses to invest in American-made factories, equipment, research and development, and expanded domestic production.
"I am thrilled to have welcomed Small Business Administration Deputy Administrator Bill Briggs to my district to showcase the incredible work being done right here at Air Squared. Companies like Air Squared are proof that when we support American manufacturing and American innovation, we create jobs, strengthen our economy, and make our country more competitive and secure.
I'm proud to support the hardworking entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and families and ensure they have the tools they need to grow, invest, and create more good-paying jobs right here in Colorado's Eighth District that keep our state and nation moving forward." - Congressman Gabe Evans
"Permanent Tax provisions like the R&D credit, and expensing for new equipment, as part of the working families tax cuts are giving small manufacturers like Air Squared in Colorado confidence to invest, hire, and grow.
I am grateful to Rep. Gabe Evans for supporting this historic legislation, which helps small businesses expand, make more products in the United States, and continue serving hometown communities such as Thornton, Colorado." - Small Business Administration Deputy Administrator Bill Briggs
