Traffic Advisory Calaveras County Update 07/08/25

One-Way Traffic Control

Calaveras County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control on State Route 4 (SR-4) and SR-26 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 4

• One-way traffic control from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work beginning Monday, July 7, 2025, through Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Poole Station Road to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 26

• Long-term, one-way traffic control from Gillhaven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
• One-way traffic control from east of Deardorff Road to South Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for tree work beginning Tuesday, July 8, 2025, through Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Sawyer Road to Sandy Gulch Lane for tree work beginning Tuesday, July 8, 2025, through Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One way traffic control from Sandy Gulch Road to Stanley Road for tree work on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Middle Fork Mokelumne River Bridge to Main Street for tree work on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Bucksaw Lane to Niderost Lane for tree work beginning Wednesday, July 9, 2025, through Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Niderost Lane to Centennial Mile Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, July 8, 2025, through Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
