The Hearthstone Spring Playoffs Are Just Around the Corner!

Last month, three incredible players booked their tickets to the World Championship. Now, a new group of competitors is ready to take the first big step toward BlizzCon. On Sunday, May 17, over 150 of the best players from Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas will face off in the Spring Playoffs, with four spots at the Spring Championship per region on the line. Read on for everything you need to know about the Spring Playoffs.

What You Need to Know

• Broadcast: Sunday, May 17, starting at 12:00 a.m. PDT
• Format: 4-deck, Best-of-5 Conquest with one ban
  • Saturday (Not Broadcast): Swiss for all three regions
  • Sunday (Broadcast): Top 8 for all three regions
• Qualification: The top four players from each region will qualify for the Spring Championship in June
• Players: Each region's list of competitors will consist of:
  • The top 50 Competitive Point earners for that region during the Spring Competitive Season (March - April)
  • The top four players from each Open Qualifier during the Spring Competitive Season
  • The winner of each Spring Blitz Weekend tournament
