Assault Cause Bodily Harm – Arrest: C25-13176

On January 18, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the first 100 block of Davis Crescent for the report of an assault.

Attending West District General Patrol officers located an 18-year-old female victim within the residence suffering from serious upper-body injuries sustained from being assaulted. A female suspect, who was still present, was arrested without incident.

The victim was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition.

Through their investigation, officers learned that suspect and the victim had an argument after consuming alcohol together at the residence. The argument escalated into a physical assault, after which police were contacted.

The suspect and victim are previously known to one another.

An 18-year-old female, from Winnipeg is facing a charge of Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

She was released on an Undertaking as mandated by the Criminal Code.
