Xinhua features Tuz Golu Underground Gas Storage Expansion Project in Türkiye
Xinhua News Agency on Feb 2 published a report titled "Exploring the Tuz Golu Underground Natural Gas Storage Expansion Project in Türkiye" - highlighting the project constructed by China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE), a subsidiary of Sinomach.
The project is set to significantly boost Türkiye's natural gas transportation and storage capacity, help alleviate local energy shortages and strengthen the country's clean energy supply and energy security.

Located in Aksaray province, Türkiye, the project officially commenced in 2020 - jointly undertaken by Chinese construction group CAMCE and Türkiye's IC Ictas Construction.
China's CAMCE is responsible for constructing the surface facilities in Phase II and installing pipelines in Phase III.
On completion, the project will substantially improve Türkiye's natural gas storage and transmission capacity, contributing to greater energy stability and security.
