Webster University and Arcadia Abroad Partner to Expand Study Abroad Opportunities

January 21, 2026

Webster University and Arcadia Abroad have partnered to expand study abroad opportunities in the Arcadia Abroad Partnership Network by including access to Webster's European campuses, it was announced this week. Students at Arcadia Abroad partner schools will now have opportunities to study at Webster Athens beginning in Fall 2026, followed by Webster Geneva, Webster Leiden, and Webster Vienna beginning in Spring 2027.

This new partnership is the first collaboration between Webster University and the Arcadia Abroad Partnership Network.

Arcadia Abroad is a cooperative platform for mission-aligned organizations seeking to strengthen their impact and sustainability in an increasingly market-driven higher education landscape. Drawing on the long tradition of higher education consortia, the Partnership Network provides values-based education abroad organizations with the opportunity for synergistic collaboration rather than market-driven consolidation, ensuring that students continue to benefit from diverse, academically rich, and mission-centered global learning experiences.

Webster University, an independent, non-profit institution rooted in over a century of expanding access to higher education in the U.S., has long been a leader in global education. Since opening its first international campus in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1978, Webster offers high-quality, U.S.-accredited programs at locations worldwide. Its European campuses welcome students from across the globe to pursue full undergraduate and graduate degrees, while also hosting study abroad students from the United States, creating a vibrant, internationally diverse learning community.

"We are delighted to welcome Webster University into the Arcadia Abroad Partnership Network," said Andrew Law, Ph.D., chief executive officer & chief academic officer of Arcadia Abroad. "Webster's global campus system and long-standing commitment to academic excellence and student engagement align perfectly with the Network's mission. Together, we are creating a sustainable, collaborative framework that preserves the values of international education while expanding access, visibility, and impact for values-based education abroad organizations."

Students from across Arcadia Abroad's network of U.S. institutions will have the opportunity to study abroad at Webster's distinctive international campuses while benefiting from Arcadia's comprehensive advising, enrollment, and student services. The collaboration will also support shared outreach, recruitment, and academic initiatives designed to strengthen the reach and resilience of values-based international education.

"Webster University is proud to join the Arcadia Abroad Partnership Network," said Hannah Verity, senior director of Global Education at Webster. "This partnership underscores our shared commitment to advancing high-impact global learning experiences and opening new pathways for students to broaden their worldview and develop the skills needed to thrive in an interconnected world. We look forward to welcoming Arcadia Abroad students to our campuses. Their perspectives and contributions will enrich our classrooms and strengthen our campus communities."

This new relationship affirms Webster University's and Arcadia Abroad's ongoing commitment to mission-driven collaboration and inclusive excellence in the international education community in support of equipping students for impactful, globally informed lives.
