Hershey Theatre Now Open Following 13-Month Renovation Project

Historic Venue to Host More Than 35 Shows and Concerts Through Fall 2026

Following an extensive year-long renovation, the historic Hershey Theatreis now open to the public, offering a year full ofexciting programming.

The building, which closed in late January 2025, has undergone a series of major improvements, including new air conditioning, new seating and carpeting, a new orchestra pit, improved Wi-Fi connectivity, new LED lighting and more. The building's electrical systems and stage have also been modernized, along with the creation of a two-story loading dock to streamline show load-ins.

Upcoming Hershey Theatre Programming

To celebrate a new era of the nearly 100-year-old venue, more than 35 shows have been announced through October 2026, including three Broadway touring productions, renowned comedians and all-star musicians. Hershey Theatre Spotlight Tours

Beginning this month, Hershey Theatre will once again offer 90-minute public "Spotlight Tours," a guided walking tour that takes guests behind the scenes, from "basement to balcony," of the historic masterpiece. Spotlight Tours are held most Sundays and Mondays at 1 p.m., depending on the Theatre's schedule. Tickets can be purchased onlineor in person at The Hershey StoryMuseum.
