Erie Insurance earns gold 'Health at Work' award from ComPsych

Global organization recognizes ERIE for prioritizing employee health and well-being

Erie Insurance (ERIE) has been named a gold winner in the "Health at Work Awards," presented by ComPsych^®, the world's largest provider of mental health services and guidance resources.

"ComPsych is thrilled to honor Erie Insurance for its investment in building a culture that centers around employee mental health and well-being, understanding that employee mental health is not a passing trend, but a key driver of organizational success," said ComPsych CEO Paul Posey.

ERIE employees have access to programs that include annual biometric health screenings, health risk assessments, lifestyle and condition management coaching, as well as programs that encourage exercise, mental wellness, emotional well-being, healthy eating and yearly exams.

"I'm proud that ComPsych has recognized us for our benefits and wellness programs," said ERIE Benefits Analyst Jayme Turos. "Helping the ERIE family maintain happy and productive lives in and out of work has been central to our culture for the past 100 years."

One example of ERIE's award winning approach is the company's Mental & Emotional Well-being (ME/WE) initiative, aimed at helping educate employees, reduce stigma, promote access and emphasize support as part of a culture of caring and well-being.

"Mental health is just as important as physical health," added ERIE Employee Health Case Manager Lisa Osinski. "We want every employee to be healthy both physically and mentally, but also feel safe, supported and valued on their individual wellness journey."
