Rescheduled talk will share insights from circumpolar farms, cultures

Chelsea San Roman, a farm and research technician at the Matanuska Experiment Farm in Palmer, will share stories and experiences from the 2025 Circumpolar Agriculture Conference in Tromsø, Norway, in a talk originally scheduled for Dec. 8. The new date is Wednesday, Jan. 14, from noon-1 p.m.
San Roman was part of a group from the University of Alaska Fairbanks Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Extension who spent a week in September with farmers, producers and researchers from Earth's circumpolar regions.
Participants can attend in person in Kerttula Hall at the UAF Matanuska Experiment Farm and Extension Center, 1509 S. Georgeson Drive, Palmer, or via Zoom.
