Chinese Embassy in Fiji Holds the 2026 Scholarships Award Ceremony
On August 6th, Chinese Embassy in Fiji held the 2026 Scholarships Award Ceremony. Hosted by Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Mr. Wang Yuan, the ceremony was attended by more than 40 guests, including winners of 2026 Chinese Government Scholarship and their families, and former scholarship recipients.
Wang Yuan extended warmest congratulations to all recipients.He encouraged the students to pursue knowledge relentlessly, witness China's modernization journey, embrace China's stories, utilize professional expertise upon graduation, making contributions to the development and inheritance of friendship between the two countries.
The students expressed gratitude to China for offering precious opportunities, saying that they will cherish their time of studying in China, striving forward diligently and dedicating themselves to the people-to-people exchange and practical cooperation between Fiji and China.
Closing the ceremony, artists from Yunnan Province delivered unique cultural performance. The ceremony completed with a huge round of applause.
