New Seniors Housing Community Opens in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, July 18, 2022 - Indigo at Carolina Forest, a newly constructed seniors housing community, has now opened its doors to residents. The Class A community, located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, features 166 independent living, assisted living, and memory care units. The campus includes the main building, as well as 14 freestanding independent living villas.

Myrtle Beach is a premier retirement destination with a growing population of senior adults. The area consistently ranks in the top 25 best cities to retire, according to U.S. News. Residents of Indigo at Carolina Forest can enjoy upscale amenities including multiple dining areas, the on-site salon, an outdoor swimming pool, a croquet court, and access to local golf courses.

The project was developed by Compass Real Estate, a private real estate investment and development company based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Indigo at Carolina Forest is being operated by SRI Management, a privately held management company that provides development assistance and operational programming for seniors housing and hospitality properties throughout the eastern United States. SRI manages over 30 communities across the eastern United States including seven for Bourne Financial Group.
