  • The eastbound U.S. 30 ramp to northbound Illinois 47 will be closed. A detour will direct traffic to Illinois 56 and Galena Boulevard to access Illinois 47.

Illinois 47

  • The left lane on southbound Illinois 47 will be closed.
  • The public can also expect various intermittent daytime lane closures on northbound Illinois 47, at least one northbound lane will remain open during construction.

Additionally, later this month, a full closure of the northbound lanes on Illinois 47 will be required to install steel beams over the road. The schedule and impacts to traffic will be shared closer to the closure date.

The repairs are expected to be completed in September.
